Expansion of Global Entry to Citizens of Argentina

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has expanded Global Entry eligibility to citizens of Argentina.  Argentine citizens will be able to apply for Global Entry using the the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) beginning on May 8, 2017.

Global Entry is a traveler program for certain foreigners traveling to the United States. The program provides expedited clearance of pre-approved, low-risk travelers into the United States. Global Entry members can bypass traditional CBP inspection lines and use an automated kiosk to apply for admission to the United States.

To become a Global Entry traveler, the foreigner must submit the online application and pay the US$100 application fee.  The applicant will then be interviewed by a CBP officer to determine eligibility for Global Entry membership.  Global Entry membership is valid for five years.
